Fernside Self Catering Holiday Cottage is a deluxe one bedroom new build just outside Skipton in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is a character property, attached to Fernside House, with a spacious stylish interior. Furnished and decorated to a particularly high standard, I have tried to provide everything you will need to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing holiday. I hope that my attention to detail is what my guests will remember. However, if there is something I haven't considered please let me know.

With the above in mind, Fernside cottage is very proud to have been awarded four stars and Gold Award status from enjoyEngland – Quality in tourism. This is the highest accolade that I could have received.

Fernside Holiday Cottage is accessed from a small country lane and has its own enclosed garden giving guests privacy, peace and quiet.

The self-catering cottage is fully equipped and has all the amenities expected of four star Gold Award accommodation.

The accommodation is on two floors (as described below) and benefits from gas fired central heating throughout. Please note that in order to maintain high standards Fernside Cottage is non-smoking and is unable to accommodate pets.

Ground Floor

Kitchen/Diner:

The cottage kitchen is extremely well equipped with a range of warm and stylish oak effect units. The appliances include integrated Fridge with ice box Freezer, Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher & brushed stainless steel Oven and Microwave. A full range of tableware & ovenware completes the quality feel. The Dining Area features a solid circular marble dining table & chairs. A flat screen, Freesat TV is available for those wishing to view whilst dining. The Kitchen/Dining area benefits from full length patio doors, with views of the open countryside.

First Floor

Lounge:

The lounge has two windows overlooking undulating views of the open countryside. It is furnished with; two large sofas, nest of tables, chest of drawers and a coffee table with storage. For your enjoyment you will also find; 32" LCD TV, DVD player, Freesat package and a selection of information books, DVD's and board games.

Bedroom:

This room has a single aspect overlooking Fernside House Gardens with a view to St Mary's Church in the distance. The room features a double bed, with luxury bed linen and quality matching furniture including; double wardrobe, bedside cabinets, with lamps and a chest of drawers. The bedroom is also equipped with a flat screen Freesat TV.

Shower Room:

This room, tiled from floor to ceiling, includes; shower cubicle, half pedestal wash basin, mirror, WC, heated towel rail and shaver point.

Outside

For those who care to eat al fresco, an enclosed lawned garden and spacious patio, adjacent to the cottage, is furnished with outdoor table, chairs and a barbecue, which is screened for privacy. Fernside Cottage also benefits from off road parking for 2 cars.
